Monday – Thursday 6am* – 11pm
Friday 6am* – 9.30pm
Saturday – Sunday (8am-8pm)
Bank Holidays (8am-8pm)
*Douglas opens at 6.30am

Yes. We are open 8am-8pm on bank holidays plus offer €5 PAYG all weekend. Class times will change accordingly – please check our app or enquire at front desk up to 7 days in advance for bank holiday class times.

Getting Started

Yes, we have showers and hair dryers in all sites plus complimentary hair straighteners in our Douglas and Blackpool branches. Forgot your shower gel? Just ask at reception and we can supply you with what you have forgotten.

Can I can see and try out the gym before signing for membership? 2017-07-11T15:32:02+00:00

Of course – call down anytime and someone will be free to show you around. If you are still interested in membership, we are more than happy to offer you a trial once you are with a member outside of peak hours (4.30-9.30pm Mon-Fri). Strictly one trial per person, over 18s only.

Unfortunately we are strictly a member’s only gym. If you have a friend or family member visiting on occasion, please contact your club and we may be able to arrange a pay as you go pass at our discretion.

How can I become a member? 2017-06-28T14:29:18+00:00

Call down to your local Dennehy’s gym at any time to sign up for membership or if its easier, contact (link to contact page) your nearest club to sign up over the phone. Your membership will commence on the day you sign up.

Do I need to bring anything when I sign up? 2017-06-28T14:29:26+00:00

If you are signing up to our monthly rolling membership, be sure to bring your debit or credit card as these details will be required. If you are signing up to a 6 or 12 month membership, just bring yourself!

No, we do not charge joining or cancellation fees.

Membership

Choose between Platinum (gym + classes), Full Peak (unlimited gym + €7 PAYG classes) or Off Peak (gym access before 4.30pm and after 9.30pm, unlimited weekend use + €7 PAYG classes). For more information, check out (link to membership page) or contact (link to contact page) your local club.

We accept members from age 13+.

Of course. A member of our front desk team will be happy to show you where everything is so you won’t be lost on your first day. If you require further assistance, we encourage all new members to book in for an assessment with one of our trainers. Didn’t do this when you first signed up? Assessments are available to all our members at any time – just enquire at front desk to arrange your appointment. We recommend to book in every 6/8 weeks to ensure you are progressing towards your goals.

Will I be shown how to use the equipment? 2017-06-28T14:30:10+00:00

Yes, all members can avail of a complimentary one to one health assessment with one of our trainers. Once assessed, the trainer will design a personalised gym programme according to your fitness level and goals. The exercises on this programme will be explained to you by a trainer in a second one to one session. If you have questions on any of the other equipment, just ask!
We recommend a reassessment every 6/8 weeks to change your programme for maximum progression.

Yes. Please call to front desk or send an email to arrange a change of membership type.

Can I suspend my membership? 2017-06-28T14:30:30+00:00

Monthly membership gives you the flexibility to suspend your membership for one month at a time. The option to suspend a 6 or 12 month membership is only available if there is a medical or exceptional reason.

Please call to front desk or send us an email to arrange a membership suspension from one payment date to the next i.e. June 5th – July 5th. Your membership will be automatically reinstated on your following payment date.

A minimum of 72 hours written notice before your payment date is required.

Monthly membership gives you the flexibility to cancel your membership at any time.

Please call to front desk or send us an email to arrange a membership cancellation. If you are sending us an email, please include your full name, membership ID number (located on your swipe card) and your reason for cancellation.

A minimum of 15 days written notice before your payment date is required.
